Dr. John Jenkins, Sr. is senior pastor of the First Baptist Church of Glenarden, now located in Upper Marlboro, MD. He actively participates in community organizations and is currently chairman to Project Bridges, a coalition of churches devoted to improving the quality of family life; trustee for Bethel University; and chairman emeritus to SHABACH! Ministries, Inc., a nonprofit corporation. John received an Honorary Doctorate of Divinity from Southern California School of Ministry. Following Christ’s mandate in Matthew 28:19 to teach all the nations, he travels around the United States and throughout the world preaching and teaching the gospel of Christ. His passion for winning lost souls to the Kingdom of God is unsurpassed.
